I took these photos in January '09. Two different weekends. Two different cameras. The Saturday following the final photographs I was again on highway 6. This time on the road, somewhere between Friend & Exeter, I got the call from Jim that Mom had passed. She had been in so much pain that I wasn't disappointed that she didn't wait for me to arrive.
