I'm still going over to KZUM when there is live music on The Wimmin's Show. Recently Linda McRae performed. She is originally from Canada but now lives in Nashville I believe. She writes her own music & collaborates with her husband. I enjoyed her music immensely.

Don & I went to the ranch this past weekend. Harald joined us as did Zeke & Clarabelle (her first time there). All seemed in order. There were less bugs in the house than we expected. We saw a mouse a couple of times & the dogs were too slow to catch it. And there was enough wood in the basement to stoke the furnace. Beautiful weather too. Soon it will be deer season.

I love getting Christmas cards that include family photos. The past couple of years my friend, Lori, has sent out my favorite. She does a collage of photos with beautiful colors & design. She has a good eye and, I think, a vision of how she wants her card to look. This year she asked me to photograph her family for her Christmas card. I was immensely flattered. We used Pioneers Park as a backdrop & Don held the flash when needed. Mason & Alex were troopers (bribing helped). We topped off the afternoon by going to Lee's Chicken.

My friend, Joan, hooked me up with Matt who needed some senior pictures taken. So Matt & I agreed upon the Haymarket as a good backdrop and I got some photos for him. I enjoyed photographing him. He was up for suggestions and it was a great location.

Nancy, my sister, gave us tickets to the Husker game last Saturday. Mike had won them & decided not to make the trip. It was a blustery day but Don & I sat in the south stadium & enjoyed the game. My first game since Bo became head coach. The field looked a little closer than it does with this panoramic shot on my phone, but it still seemed far away. Thanks for the tickets, Mike & Nancy!

When I visited Connie last week I also took some photos of Luke. He gave me permission to photograph him while playing on his electric guitar. (After I got down on my knees & begged.) Connie was a bit dismayed that he wore his "got milk?" shirt but I think it was perfect. And then I took a few photos in the living room with some natural light. I was happy with them. I hope he is too.

I visited Connie last week & spent some alone time in her house. So I read, played Candy Crush on my phone & hung out with Jake, the golden Lab. He is good company. I took him for a short walk . . . or rather he walked me. He loves playing fetch with a tennis ball. And when he just felt like hanging out with me I took some pictures. He didn't seem to mind.
