Pauline

Colleen & I stopped in Pauline to photograph this blue shed that catches my eye every time I pass by. We drove through town & found this green tractor along the side of the road. Then we headed toward the farm but stopped on the north forty acres first.

road trip

I did something special the past few days. I took a road trip with my sister-in-law, Colleen, to take photos & talk camera stuff. We started out at her home near Hastings. I found some still life in her home that I found interesting enough to photograph. Then Thursday evening we sought out the Sandhill cranes that are still migrating through Nebraska. They are challenging to photograph unless you have a gigantic lens. But I was happy with these photos. I want Colleen to see my photos so sharing them on my blog is an easy way to do that. I'm anxious to see some of hers.

for Butch & Elaine

My uncle, Butch, recently passed. I attended services for him last Friday. I took some snapshots at the reception for my Dad to view as he couldn't make the trip. Then I thought my aunt, Elaine, would enjoy them too. A wonderful turnout of family, friends, coworkers & neighbors. So many people loved Butch. The speaker at the wake the night before said that the first time he met Butch he liked him. No surprise there. We will miss him. So I am coming out of blogging retirement to bring you these photos.
