the Nebraska State Fair, part 2

Yesterday Don, Daniel & I went to the fair. It was crowded; lines formed for parking & food. Don's only reason for going to the fair was to "eat crap". Some of it was healthier than others. He started off with a turkey leg . . .



Moved on to funnel cake. Now you can get strawberries & cream on your funnel cake. Daniel ordered one of those while Don & I shared the plain old powdered sugar version.



Then he tried a fried peach on a stick. It was quite good. Like peach cobbler. We could've had fried Twinkies or Oreos, but they really weren't that appealing.





Checked out the livestock & fowl again . . .















Found the Civil War reenactors.
