memory walk

I participated in the Alzheimer's Walk with Nancy today in Hastings. My first time, but she's been doing it since Mom died, I think. But this is the first time it's been on a Saturday also. Chilly weather. Good turnout I think. She brought her grandkids, Jayden & Elise who were troopers. The flowers were a first for me. The purple flowers were given to people who knew someone with Alzheimers. You got a blue flower if you had Alzheimers. I saw one or two of those. The yellow flowers were given to walkers who were caregivers for people with Alzheimrers.
