traveling camera

My old SLR camera has been traveling more than I have this summer so far (I do hope to remedy that in August.) My niece, Angie, requested to take it on a trip to Washington DC. She's borrowed it before so I was comfortable lending it to her. She kept the camera long enough to take on another trip but I now have it back in my possession. She was kind enough to leave the photos on the SD card so I am sharing some of my favorites this week. We went to DC in 2002 with the boys. A great city to visit if you've never been there. So much rich history & the memorials are very emotional to visit. I would like to go back again some day, but in the meantime these photos bring back some memories.
