They're engaged!

Austin & Yizhi are engaged! Last Tuesday he walked up to her while she was looking at something under a microscope & popped the question! Romantic enough for me. They did pick out the ring together. Something simple that she can wear even with the rubber gloves she often wears in the lab. Don & I were in Iowa City last Wednesday evening; just in time to help them celebrate. I got a photo of Yizhi displaying her ring. I am happy for both of them & honored to have Yizhi become a part of our family.
