Atlantic, Iowa

Don & I drove to Nashville, Tennessee last week to meet up with his brother, Rex, and his girlfriend, Pris. On the way we stopped in Marne, Iowa so Don could drool at the Triumph motorcycle dealership there. After a recommendation we headed for The Farmer's Kitchen in Atlantic. Great home-made food. No shortcuts there. And the display case held a great assortment of pie. Don ordered the blueberry cream pie which was divine (I sampled his piece). How can you go wrong with blueberries, sugar & cream?? On our way out the door I noticed the gooseberry pie which is a rarity here in Nebraska. Next time I'm there I may try that one.
