Capitol Christmas Tree

The Capitol decorates a real tree every year for Christmas & displays it in the rotunda. This year the tree came from the home of Dale Janssen of Lincoln. The news reports said it had a handmade ornament from every county. I checked out this tree this past Saturday. It's an impressive tree. Beautiful shape. I had to crane my neck to see the top. I was disappointed to find the ornaments are from the past several years though. I was hoping for some new ones.
