Happy Birthday, Kathy!

Today is Kathy's birthday. She's my BFF. I met Kathy when I was in college & started working at BDalton's bookstore at Gateway mall & she managed the downtown store. Both stores are gone now but we've remained good friends. We still hang out in bookstores together & talk about good books to read. I imagine having your birthday fall on April Fool's Day makes for a day of teasing & jokes, but Kathy can handle all that. I took this photo of her last fall at the Nebraska State Fair.
